“True Healing happens when we can fully accept & allow all that we are, as we are, so that we can resonate in the frequency of Love.”

About Speciality Yoga

Perfect for: A range of people of varying ages and abilities looking for relaxation and support with yoga

Life is a series of beautiful, dynamic transitions. Our physical, emotional, and mental needs shift dramatically as we grow, step into parenthood, or welcome new life into the world.

My Specialty Yoga classes offer safe, and nurturing practices designed to support you and your family through these unique thresholds.

Pregnancy Yoga (From 14 weeks)

Nurturing physical comfort, emotional resilience, and spiritual preparation for motherhood.

The Focus: Designed specifically for the pregnant body, this gentle class blends accessible postures, soothing breathwork, and deep relaxation to ease common aches, calm maternal anxiety, and physically prepare you for labour and postpartum recovery.

Suitable For: Expectant mothers from their 14th week of pregnancy onwards. No prior yoga experience is required.

Postnatal Yoga

A gentle, informal, and restorative space to rebuild core strength and connect with other new mothers.

The Focus: Focuses on re-energising the body, gently toning the abdominal muscles, restoring the pelvic floor, and easing shoulder tension from feeding. This is an informal, relaxed space where feeding, changing, crying, and chatting are fully embraced.

Suitable For: New mothers and their babies up to crawling age. No previous experience required.

Yoga for Kids

Nurturing physical strength, creative imagination, and lifelong stress-relief tools for children.

The Focus: A playful, engaging space where children explore movement, coordination, and posture. Beyond physical fitness, kids learn simple mindfulness tools to improve concentration, boost self-esteem, master relaxation, and cultivate an intimate relationship with the natural world.

Suitable For: Children within the specified age range of the current scheduled course.

Common questions about speciality yoga sessions

Yes, absolutely. My Pregnancy Yoga classes are explicitly designed to accommodate all levels, especially complete beginners. The movements are exceptionally slow, gentle, and highly modified to ensure absolute safety for both you and your baby. My trauma-aware, therapeutic background means your boundaries will be deeply respected, helping you feel supported, comfortable, and confident as your body changes.

Because my postnatal space is completely informal and baby-led, please bring anything your baby needs to feel comfortable, such as a favourite blanket, feeding cushion, and toys. My Eastbourne studio fully provides all necessary yoga props, mats, and bolsters. You are entirely free to stop practicing at any moment during the hour to feed, soothe, or change your baby right on your mat.

While children naturally enjoy the physical play of yoga, the internal benefits are profound. Yoga teaches children how to recognise stress in their bodies and provides them with practical, lifelong tools to self-soothe and find calmness. Through creative storytelling, imagination, and play, it builds deep inner strength, self-esteem, and fearlessness, helping them bring their unique inner light to the surface.

All group sessions take place at my peaceful, welcoming studio space in Eastbourne, East Sussex. The central location makes it highly convenient for families and expectant mothers traveling from nearby local areas like Willingdon, Polegate, Pevensey, Hailsham, and Lewes. Booking in advance online is essential, as these specialised courses keep small group sizes to ensure a safe, intimate environment.

While my practices are highly therapeutic, gentle, and safe, I always recommend informing your midwife, GP, or obstetrician that you are beginning a prenatal or postnatal movement routine. For Pregnancy Yoga, I kindly ask that you wait until your second trimester (14 weeks) to join us. For Postnatal Yoga, most mothers choose to join us after their 6-week or 8-week postpartum health check.

“Following your Meeting in the Heart workshop I’m still experiencing an opening of the heart and within a deep tenderness and connection to my Truth. It feels so timely to have met you and to sit in the space with you where your presence, your words, your stillness and authenticity spoke to me in a profound way. The work we did in the group broke through another layer of resistance and although at the time I felt a degree of discomfort I am ever closer to the Truth of who I am. Deep gratitude for bringing this challenging work to us with beauty and serenity.”
